"To Protect, Preserve and Interpret Alabama's Historic Places."
Visitors, starting Monday, August 3, 2020 we will begin construction on a new pier. While we are excited about these improvements, please note that access to Fort Morgan beach will only be available via Burgoyne Road. Construction is expected to be completed next spring. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to experiencing the new pier.

Fort Morgan offers a never ending variety of possibilities for outdoor activities. Beaches, nature trails, bird watching area, fishing. Caution should be used in using the beaches as no lifeguards are present. Please be aware that all beaches close at sundown. Fort Morgan is a Dog Friendly Site. Keep dogs on a leash at all times and pick up after them. Beyond the Old Fisherman's Wharf is a Federal Wildlife area so dogs are not permitted beyond that point. |
Fort Morgan provides the opportunity for every angler to land that "big one" from it's shoreline. Come where the locals have been shore fishing for years, come to Fort Morgan!
